The Wakefield House Ministry
North American Mission Board and International Mission Board (IMB) and Great Commission Missionaries (GCC) shall have first priority for use of the residence. The Wakefield House is designated as a temporary residence for missionaries serving as home or international missionaries. A missionary is an individual appointed by a GCC mission agency.

*Advance reservations will be accepted for the maximum time allowed for stateside assignment (12-14 months). Based on availability, an extension beyond that period may be granted for extenuating circumstances.
*First priority will be given to requests for long-term stays of 12-14 months; however, shorter stays may be scheduled, based on availability.

Swim To Jesus
Purpose:
Provide the American Red Cross swimming lessons to children ages 5-13 ( k-8th grade) who may not be able to afford swimming lessons while at the same time teaching about the love of our God through teaching about His son Jesus Christ and his relationship with Peter.
Focus of swimming lessons
John 21:7 – Peter jumped out of the boat and swam to the shore to see Jesus. Our overall purpose it to teach children to jump out of their boats (figuratively) and swim to Jesus.
iChoose Pregnancy
Partnership
The Care Mission Team at Wakefield Central Baptist seeks to partner with other local faith-based ministries to meet community needs and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
One such ministry is iChoose Pregnancy Center in Knightdale. We have been a faithful partner with iChoose for several years.
